What started out as an attempt to create my very own personalized URL shortener – Evolved into making Str.bz a site that was publicly available for everyone to use. The purpose of this website site was not to re-invent how URL shortening websites are designed. Str.bz was created based on analyzing how some of the other URL shortener’s are built. You will find that this website functions the same or very similar to others like it. If you have not notice already, there are advertisements around on various pages on this website. This decision was made with the intention to generate some extra revenue to maintain the site. We hope the ads are not too much of bother to anyone using this website service.
As of now, the site isn’t perfect by any means as it is still the beta testing phase. We welcome your feedback and will appreciate it a lot.
